seqram2 scripsit: > When I say "I see a bird," I don't know which bird > I'm seeing, it's unspecified, but it isn't the Kind. It's *a* > *particular* bird, whose identity I neither know nor care about. Absolutely. It is equivalent to "There is a bird such that I see it" and expressed in XS-Lojban as in Loglan as "mi viska pa cipni". Or "su'o cipni" if you want to be nonspecific about number. -- I am expressing my opinion. When my John Cowan honorable and gallant friend is called, jcowan@hidden.email he will express his opinion. This is http://www.ccil.org/~cowan the process which we call Debate. --Winston Churchill
