But as Cowan wrote last week, JCB wrote that in 1995, and it was a major change in how Loglanists looked at the gadri from the earlier period.
I'll have to dig out some examples, which will include the vintage explanation of lea. This may take a day or two, as I've got a kid just home from camp two hours ago and starting band camp tomorrow, and my daughter starts school on Monday.
