Well, you could ask.  You'll get a pcan answer: I don't know whether I have commented on this before or not, but my present view is that {lo broda} works like {da poi broda} in every context that I have looked at in.  I am open to someone coming up with a context where it does not work, but I haven't seen one -- sumti tcita cases definitely included.
