So it must be _"wa:si3atun_, as I expected.
So I'll try making my "Newgaritic" forms assuming this pattern valid for Natural
Ugaritic:
*?a:XiDatu 'holding (f.sn)' > ["?aXeZe].
That will preserve uniformity with m.sn form ["?aXeZ] < *?a:XiDu.
Plurals are eazier, having "heavy" (long) endings:
[?aX"Zum] < *?a:XiDu:ma
[?aX"Zat] < *?a:XiDa:tu
