Well, having looked at the page, I remembered that I saw it last year while surfing the Net in search of materials for my Ajami (Arabo-Romance) project, and found it not helping in any sense. I have the same impression: there is no Semitic feeling in it. Unfortunately I have removed from the Web my Ajami pages, since the project is undergoing serious remodelling, and is not of the first priority, but my experience of working on it says that a Semitisized romlang must undergo much stronger Semitic impact than an occasional gloss. To see a "hybride", one may also learn from Yiddish (Germanic+Semitic) and/or Farsi (Iranian+Semitic) patterns. -- Yitzik
