Irregular compared to what, though? K-stem verbs do have /i/ for /k/ in such
forms, but there's an /i/ there already, so I wouldnt be surprised if -tta, etc.
was the _regular_ outcome. Are there any "regular" verbs ending in -iku,
past -iita? (I cant find any offhand...)
