What about _qh_?  Doesn't geminated /h/ and/or /H\/
occur in Arabic (which I don't really know)?
The term _Wahhabism_ comes to mind.

I like _x_ = /S/ very much BTW.  You may have
noticed that my Indic transliteration for IB
uses it -- supposedly adopted from Portuguese
tradition.

I'm similarly disturbed by _lj_ seeming more common than _l_
in Slvanjec, but it also adds to the flavor.
