Well, I don't think that should necessarily be a flaw. In Brithenig, _ll_ seems to be much more frequent than _l_, but I can't say it disturbs me. Likewise, _l\_ (l-stroke) is in Wenedyk much more frequent than _l_ (which sometimes does disturb me).
