It was before I knew the word `auxlang'. ;)
Possibly in a "beyond the dictionary" sort of book.

I also remember seeing (in 1977) a b.d. album,
_Le monstre du Volapük_, where V. seemed to be a geographic name.

How disappointing.  Perhaps the book where I found it
was behind the times.
