Jorge Llamb)Bas scripsit: > Right. It's just that CLL-lo'e was being touted as "Mister", which it > is not. Never by me or other Lojban Old Farts. For us, "loi" is "Mister", and has been since Loglan days. In JCB's original example, whenever a monkey falls out of a tree, Mr. Monkey falls out of a tree (and out of Mr. Tree, presumably, though JCB didn't say so). But I now concede, grudgingly, that this is an undesirable conflation. -- John Cowan jcowan@hidden.email http://www.ccil.org/~cowan http://www.reutershealth.com Thor Heyerdahl recounts his attempt to prove Rudyard Kipling's theory that the mongoose first came to India on a raft from Polynesia. --blurb for _Rikki-Kon-Tiki-Tavi_
