"su'olo'i nanmu su'o mei" is still more of a mouthful than "lu'oilau'i
nanmu". More importantly, I personally won't consider tanru as a
'basic' way to anything. I consider tanru a deliberate opting for
vagueness -- not a bad thing, but to be used only when vagueness
is deliberately chosen. Without tanru, it becomes as much of a
mouthful as the version with klesi.

I have no control over the number of syllables. I can't unilaterally
create shortenings or reassign short cmavo. So I will measure by
words, not syllables. So I will judge "lu'ollau'i mu nanmu cu
bevri su'olo'i pipno" to have a length count of 7.
