And Rosta scripsit: > My own intuitions do tell me that ka with multiple ce'u will be rare. Most people seem to believe this, but I think that talking about reified relations is as common as talking about reified properties.
I would agree with that: we almost never talk about either of them.
Marriage, e.g., is ka ce'u speni ce'uxire, and brotherhood similarly.
Surely the marriage one can say interesting things about is {nu speni}, whether it be particular cases with {le nu speni} or marriage in general {lo'e nu speni}. I can't think of any interesting use of {le ka ce'u speni ce'uxire} other than as a {te simxu} or a {te ckini}. The same thing happens with properties, they are only used with predicates that assign them to some of their sumti, such as {mutce}, or {zmadu}. We never really say anything about the properties themselves or about the relations themselves other than that they apply to certain sumti. What else would we say about them? mu'o mi'e xorxes _________________________________________________________________STOP MORE SPAM with the new MSN 8 and get 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
