I think what AndR is saying is that if I have:
ledu'u makau klama le zarci
it's the same as
ro lu'a ledu'u la djan. klama le zarci kei kuce ledu'u
la djen. klama le zarci kei kuce ledu'u ...
For each value of X placed in the x1.
Other types of kau (jikau, xukau, etc) return smaller sets.
Whether or not this actually makes sense, OTOH is debatable. At
the very least, it would mean that AndR's lo'edu'u stuff is probably
wrong (at least when the du'u contains a kau), because du'u wouldn't
neccesarily be a singleton.
Actually it is in fact wrong. Here's why:
la djan. klama le zarci
mi djuno ledu'u makau klama le zarci
should not imply
mi djuno ledu'u la djen. klama le zarci

It's a horrible idea. I like ko'a the way it is.
Not that ko'a *must* be assigned with goi (I used unbound ko'a in
Little Things to try to reflect that Carver never refers to the
characters except as "he" and "she" (and "it" for the infant)); but
in most cases it should be bound (either before or after it is
used).
