I don't agree. 22.0 is an integer and, of course, a real number. The fact that (most) computer languages want to give 22 one representation and 22.0 a different one is neither here nor there.
I wasn't thinking of computer langauges, it didn't even occur to me. If you say {ji'i 22.0}, I will think "some real number around 22.0", if you say "ji'i 22", I will think "some integer around 22", unless context says that reals are allowed. But {ji'i 22.0} definitely says that reals are in play, without any additional context needed.

For the moment, it's just a general feeling of rejection.
