I don't see how you're rejecting A. But be that as it may, I'm not
trying to identify nu-objects with du'u/ka objects. Rather, I'm
trying to at the very least establish that one of the two is the
default for sumti that could be defined either way ("x is true"
vs "x is actual").

I'm after a nonmetalinguistic way that is shorter than "jetnu
je du'u". But that's an incidental matter.
