That's a bit more complicated and much more specific than [je psa], but it may end up being much more useful.  That way we could say,

lu [fu] kkna'a [fu] le ckle ctka'ake.
"When I can, I eat chocolate."

It's more complicated because when [u] is in the arg then inserting [fu] would be a clear mistake.

lu [fu] le ckle ctka'ake la mlta vskaku
*lu [fu] le ckle ctka'ake [fu] la mlta vskaku

... whereas (I think) it'd always be safe (though usually pointless) to insert [je psa].

la [je psa] mlta [je psa] xkra
