That's only "just the right amount" if you don't mind the available pivor space being entirely packed, one of the complaints about Lojban. And this means that lots of words, probably medium-frequency ones, will have to be like "bjaj". If you're going that far, I'd rather return to CVyV and CVwV as possible pivor forms (which I disliked for being too vowel-heavy). I definitely think the affricates should count for plosives. Then you have b d g k p t dj dz tc ts + a e i o u aj ej oj aw ja je jo ju jy wa we wi wo wy = 200 cmavo ... plus Cy for any consonant to make the letters is 213. Not as many as I'd like, but at least they don't have to come out like "bjaj". (spelling the semivowels as j and w for now, to emphasize that I want these to be diphthongs and not separate syllables) -- Rob Speer
