po sucmi (nu limna) means "is an act of swimming".

If in Lojban you want to say "That is an act of swimming" (or "that is
the act of swimming"; it seems that the distinctions between articles
don't mean a whole lot when applied to events and facts) you would say
"ta nu limna". But if you had to use "lenu", you could say "ta me lenu
limna". (In Ceqli, perhaps "tca bi kei suim".)

If "lenu" becomes "kei", just realize that it will pop up where "que"
never would. "To swim is good" would be "lenu limna cu xamgu" in Lojban,
and perhaps "kei suim da bon" in Ceqli.

Incidentally, in Lojbanized Ceqli, re-using "da" as a separator that
precedes the predicate just won't work. It would take up another place
in the place structure. I suggest "du", inspired by Lojban "cu" and
mimicing English "do". This steps on the number 2, but all the numbers
will have to be redone anyway.
