I uderstand your desire for uniformity, but aren't /s/, /d./ and /t./
denoted with standard characters U+0635, U+0636 and U+637?



I think /./ here means 'retroflex', not 'emphatic', so this is just the standard Urdu way of doing it (which confused me to know end the first few times i saw it).
