Sèlam!
Attention! All Farsi words are written in *Arabic* translit to preserve
uniformity!

Muyta shukrã! I consulted some dictionaries, and I think I can add
vocalization in some places, and add some other terms.
> - mad'iy: past,
Sorry, |ma;d'iy|. In Farsi - preterite
> - mud'a;ri3: non-past (or "unaccomplished")
In Farsi - "aorist" (=non-past subjunctive)
> with three forms:
> - muda;ri3 marfuw3: indicative,
> - muda;ri3 mans'uwb: subjunctive,
> - muda;ri3 majzuwm: shortened,
Terms unfamiliar in Farsi.
> - ;mr (don't know the vocalisation): imperative.
;amr (in Farsi also ;amr+ Ha;d'ir) [+ - construct state signal]
I skipped Semitic terms for verbs. But they are interesting to know.
> - m3lwm: active (voice),
ma3luwm. The same in Farsi.
> - mjhwl: passive (voice),
majhuwl. The same in Farsi.
> - l;zm: intransitive
la;zim. The same in Farsi.
> (I don't know the word for "transitive" :(( ).
I haven't found Arabic equivalent either. in Farsi it is |Gayr+ la;zim| "not
intransitive", or |muta3addiy|.
> - ism ;lf;3l: active participle,
fa;3il
> - ism ;lf3wl: passive participle.
Not found. {{{I suppose by analogy it must be |fa3uwl|.}}} [Half an hour
later:] Found! It's called |;ism ;al-maf3uwl|.
And some additional terms I found in the list of abbreviations in my
Russian-Arabic-Russian Pocket Dictionary.
s'iyGat: (Farsi - s'iyGih) -- grammar category or form
;al-s'iyGat: ;al-tafd'iyl -- comparative degree of adjective
;al-s'iyGat: ;al-tafd'iyl ;al-mut'laq -- superlative degree of adjective
s'iffat: (Farsi - s'ifat), or na3t (*) -- adjective
mu2annaT (hamza carrier, surely, waw) -- feminine
muDakkar -- masculine
d'amiyr -- pronoun
z'arf -- adverb
;ism -- substantive / noun (vague term...)
;ism ;al-3adad, or simply 3adad -- numeral
fi3l -- verb
The term |na3t| is not attested in Farsi. And, certainly, construct forms
are used without ;al- ;)
As for other Farsi terms, I'll try to find time to post more. Or maybe Danny
can help us?
