Open 'o' changes to 'Œ' when an 'i' or an 'u'. Maybe I will not distinguish it orthographically. I have not yet decided if 'u' did change to 'o' at that time the literature language would have been created. It would effect umlaut. My language is much based on proto-raeto-romance and raetic testimonial latin. I have some problems with the spelling. Depending on the time a text was written 'ú' can stand for 'ü' or that sound which is between 'ü' and 'u'. Stressed 'u', could be written as 'ó', from which it developed. I am not sure if it should sound 'u' or 'o'. For open stressed 'o' I did not find a good spelling yet. Maybe I just write 'ò'. The o-flood is an argument to not change short 'u'.
