Yeah, I myself am actually a little surprised how much of it shines through, despite the use of ahistorical vocabulary elements to replace some common and familiar Real Latin words and a few funky sound change distinctions here and there. I'm still puzzling over some of the sound changes and accompanying grammatical changes for the daughter dialects, Ausonic and Kûriac, as well as further developments from and between those, though I expect they will generally end up looking a little more familiar yet to readers familiar with the Real Romance languages, despite the fact that they'll continue to feature ahistorical vocabulary elements.
