The answer is yes, though I guess _auxlenghere/auxlinguist_ and _artlenghere/artlinguist_ would be possible too. _Conlinguist_ OTOH would look too much like someting else! >:) BTW, I wonder if not the pattern of pluralizing with umlaut would cause the _-ist_ ending to acquire an analogical singular _-est_. I did so with the _-ic_ ending already. The problem is that if they had been really inherited they would have lost their vowel, as DOMINICA > _domenge_ actually does. /Bendetx
