I know.  I've heard the noun "lonche" used myself.  My reason for 
changing it to a diacritiqued (sp?) /u/ is to exemplify the 
assimilation of the short English /u/ (as in "but"), a sound which 
is so far foreign to Hispanophones, into the hypothetical American 
language of the somewhat distant future.
