Ui! Esti juni nochi djul cocu

I've uncovered a small mystery reguarding one of my
words in C-a. I have this one word which I have noted
as being derived from the Latin word _quansei_, only I
can't find any such Latin word in my dictionary. I've
checked my Spanish etymological dictionary for Spanish
words that might derive from such a form to see if I
found it as a Vulgar Latin etymon there. No luck.
Ditto for my French etymological dictionary, though I
did come closer. I found mention there under the
entry _qui_ of a VL form, _quamsi_ which is similar to
the _quansei_ in my note book.

Could these two forms -- _quamsi_ and _quansei_ -- be
variant VL forms of some Latin original I can't
locate? Am I seriously delusional? (Don't answer
that!) Anyone have any ideas? The C-a word I derive
from this aberrant "Latin" form seems to be expressing
something like "soon", so I would expect the VL or L
to be somewhere in the semantic field of "soonness" or
something (il)logically related.

Why do I do these things to myself?

BTW -- My Carrajena - English dictionary is now
completely spiffed up in the new format and I have all
the new words I've invented over the last 6 months or
so for translation exercises and relays and such
entered for letters P-Z. I'm starting O now. (So I'm
going backwards. What of it?)
