We do mny things that are equally or more a waste of time and energy (some of which I can't mention, because they'd be an affront to folk's sensibilities). Conlanging and learning someone's conlang to the point of being able to use it are not in any way a waste of time or effort. To the contrary, they are an easy way of exercising the brain (stimulation of cognitive capacity, etc) and offer an insight into the creator of said language in ways he'd probably never discuss in open. That is, I would not discourage anyone from learning Kerno (Gods help em if they try it!) and would offer any help I could. Also, I do not in any way consider learning Brithenig as well as I did to be a waste! Nor do I consider it any more noble to study Cornish or Manx! ;))) Padraic. ===== la cieurgeourea provoer mal trasfu ast meiyoer ke 'l andrext ben trasfu. -- Ill Bethisad -- <http://www.geocities.com/elemtilas/ill_bethisad> Come visit The World! -- <http://www.geocities.com/hawessos/> .
