Indeed. |Rzuszar| is connected to French "réussir" ("rzusa" must have been a
typo or a thinko; it should have been "rzusza"). The Vulgar Latin is *re-usîre.
|sus'ciewier| is regularly derived from Latin "substituere", via |*sustItver|.
