All right:

resaltasot la balió soer lâ mbilèn ascazes 'n em
maie y cherickes gouerez ac h-arz.

There are a lot of other cognates with
Montreiano, but the meanings are different enough
that the meaning would be altered. A "cawalys" is
a cavalry horse, a "camps" is a footy field, or
other sports related open space, a "champs" is a
military training or review field, a "yerfs" is a
culinary herb, "alt" is steep, sharply angled.

"The white horse leaps over the down-toppled tree
in a moor of green and high heather."

Kerno doesn't seem to have a word for "horse",
and I don't yet know what plain jane "grass" is.

I mean, there's no such thing as a "horse". He's
either a draft horse, or a cavalry charger, or a
nag or a kingly Horse or etc. A cultural thing,
to be sure!

Padraic.
