Feel free to try it. It's absolutely delicious. =) If you feel adventurous, try preparing it without having read the English translation. ;-) (Sorry for you IB guys who got it twice.) How to make Blatz Coffee ************************ This is the rich, wonderfully warming beverage of the adults that you've always wanted to try as a kid but wouldn't have liked back then. It's an ideal way to recover from a winter promenade or just impress and sedate your visiting relatives. Start out with a good teaspoon of Colombo evening coffee (*) for each half sextarius of hot water. Add a shotglass of blatz (#) and at least one teaspoon of sugar. The ladies tend to prefer artificial sweetener, though if you watch your weight, better stay away from the stuff altogether. Top it off with a generous tuft of sweetened whipped cream. Always use glass mugs; the cream dissolving into the dark coffee is an impressive sight. Make sure you have spare cream. In fact, have spare everything. (*) Available from the Royal Jervan Tea and Coffee Company... ;-) (#) Jervan brandy distilled from the remains of grapes used in winemaking.
