{broda na brode} is not a grammatical tanru. There is however a way to get around this restriction and obtain a tanru equivalent to {broda na brode} by using tanru logical connectives: {broda gu'u na brode gidu}. (Any other brivla will do instead of du, but du is the shortest and least distracting.) In fact {gu'u ... gidu} serves as a more powerful bracket than {ke ... ke'e} within tanru, because it can include things with {co}-inversion as well as things with NA and with tags. {gu'e na broda gi brode} is grammatical, but {gu'e broda gi na brode} is not. Is this a feature or a bug of the grammar? Why is {ke broda co brode ke'e} not allowed? mu'o mi'e xorxes __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Search - Faster. Easier.
