What has that got to do with elidability? {lo broda ze'a pu brode} and {lo broda ze'a ku pu brode} are both grammatical, and they have different truth conditions. The terminator of {ze'a ku} is elidable in other contexts, even though it cannot be elided in this particular context. {lo broda na pu brode} and {lo broda na ku pu brode} are both grammatical, and they have different truth conditions. The terminator of {na ku} is never elidable. I understand it would still not be elidable in this particular context, but why is this extended to every other context? There is a difference in the treatment of the terminator of {na ku} and the terminator of {ze'a ku}. mu'o mi'e xorxes __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Search - Faster.
