I've tried and failed to prove that these possibilities blanket the universe. But I can show so weakly by defining how entities may combine, by induction.
For some properties at least, they don't blanket the universe. For example, consider the property "...is a solid cube". - A solid cube is not a hole of that property, obviously. - It is not an atom, because it contains portions that are solid cubes. - It is not a substance, because it contains portions that are not solid cubes. - It is not a group, because none of its portions is an atomic solid cube. (You probably want all solid cubes to be atoms, and that they have no portions, but then you have not been clear on what counts as a "portion".) mu'o mi'e xorxes _________________________________________________________________The new MSN 8: smart spam protection and 2 months FREE* http://join.msn.com/?page=features/junkmail
