Not getting any input, but I've just about decided that za...zo is the way to go for names. Speaking of names, I've been thinking about latin scientific terms — "homo sapiens", for example. We've got to be able to use those in Ceqli. Indeed, they're about the only foreign words that really need to be used, I think. Is this a spot for another 'the' word? Now, in my way of thinking, homo sapiens, canis familiaris, etc., are NOT names in any meaningful sense. So, I wouldn't want to use za...zo for them. Also, I've been thinking about the fact that pa do fu are used about exactly the way pa na fa are in Loglan, and I'm wondering if Ceqli also needs a triad like vi va vu? If so, sta stay staw might fill the bill. Rex May rmay@hidden.email 1-970-221-5528 Daily cartoon at: See some of my other cartoons at: Graphic novel I helped write at: |
