My problem is that I'm an English- speaker and that's what 'know' means to me. Now, in terse Tceqli, I'd think go djan kan could mean either. And expanding the first gives go djan ke go dwa kan. And the second... What should that expand into? Or need it? Can Tceqli 'djan' simply have that meaning? But it has to expand in order to turn into unambiguous Tceqli, doesn't it? OTOH, a word like 'fey,' a real auxiliary, doesn't have a way to expand either... go fey kan > ? go fey ke kan?
