I was concerned that we'd lose a lot of mandarin loan words, but -r loses us a lot of words from everywhere else. Using endings like -rl or -lm would lead to very difficult pronunciation for some people. How about -ry? It adds a syllable, but being a schwa, a very short one. > >> I do, too.
