Permissible vowel pairs: ae ai ao au aj aw ea ei eo eu ej ia ie io iu iy oa oe oi ou oj ua ue ui uo uy ja je ji jo ju jy wa we wi wo wu wy Everything without a w or j is two syllables, and can be pronounced with a glottal stop if necessary. No confusion with words like a, e, etc., because there won't be any. All Ceqli words must begin with a C. Are there any pairs here that should be prohibited for reason of unpronouncability, or because of likely confusion with other pairs, e. g. ia and iy? Any reactions to this at all? There are 38 of them which means 38 x 6 cmavo = 128. Add to that 6 vowels x 6 for 36, and we get 164 cmavo of form PV(V), and I don't know what happened to my 192 figure. -- >PLEASE NOTE MY NEW E-MAIL ADDRESS: rmay@hidden.email > Rex F.
