I'd be inclined to either stick with CV, or go with C(S/V)(CS/V), where 'S'
is a semivowel, w or y.  Yep, lose a lot of words that way.  On the other
hand, unlike Logzhblan, we continue to have heaps of one-syllable content
words.  My favorites, xi and zo, have to go anyway.  I propose zel for xi,
from mademoiSELLE.
