In the sample sentence at "jepi", is "kwijepi" definite? It seems like it should be generic, but there is no generic prefix on it. All the words with "jep" except "jepi" and "dwejepi" seem like mass nouns.
jepi [P-s] - profession, occupation, job, field, discipline, business, vocation, line of work. See also "kubegi". Dapa jepi bamo kwijepi kuntesye tekajepa bape jehi = My profession was engineering but it's now linguistics. [Etym: "-jep" is the classifier for 'profession/endeavor']
dwejepi [P-s] - sport, sporting activity. [Etym: play/sport/leisure + profession/endeavor]
