A GZ files is a compressed file, not an audio file.  You need to
uncompress it first and then play the resulting WAV file.  Use whatever
program you use to unzip ZIP and RAR files.  If that doesn't work,
perhaps someone else on this list can help you.  I don't do Windows, so
I can't help.
