Actually Raamaniyaan writing is actually complicated and
somewhat controversial! Latin script was of course lost
early on, and then there was no Raamaniyaan writing for
centuries. If the Raamaniyaan wanted to write they wrote
in Persian. The first person known to actually write
Baaz-i-Raamaniyaan was the French traveller Lemontaigner who
'discovered' the Raamaniyaan in the 18th century. He wrote
of course in Latin letters with 'French' values, but it was
also at his instigation that the first known text samples
were written in Perso-Arabic script. In the original conception
the Raamaniyaan country was part of the Soviet union, and so went
through successive stages of Arabization, Latinization and
Cyrillization. In addition there is the American-typewriter-
friendly system developed by the western scholar Milton Morris.
If the Raamaniyaan Republic does become part of
IB that will probably be different, but here are the proposed
alphabets:

At present no country recognizes the Raamaniyaan
Republic, but there is a 'progressive' government which is in
favor of Latin script. At the same time there are adherents
mainly of the Arabic script and even of the Cyrillic.
Imagine the polemics between President Mohammed Falavi and
Islamist leader Nasrollah Fabriz!

And this grammar will contain no historical phonology? :(
