If it fails, I'll use a transliteration scheme based on their Unicode names (distinguishing "glottal a" and "pharyngeal a" like this: _a_ vs. _3a_). See http://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U1200.pdf

Looks like it came out on my computer okay. The initial "a" looks a little off, though. It could just be the difference between the PDF font and my own fonts.
