Habarakhe Theophilus: The three aspects of Emegali can be envisioned as three concentric circles. Synchronic is the smallest circle. It is used for immediacy, both spatial and temporal. Diachronic is the middle circle. It is used for less immediate circumstances (perhaps something that requires planning). Permansive is the largest circle. It is used for sweeping statements, predicates, and adjectives.
