Here's the deal

Okay, everybody, here's the deal. Texperanto was first made public in 1886 by Lou
Zamenhof in an alternate universe wherein the point of departure was Davy Crockett's
shooting Santa Anna at the battle of the alamo. This naturally led to other changes in history
(Crockett's long-term presidency in the Republic of Texas, the failure of the attempted
annexation of Texas to the US, and the consequent expansion of Texas to include Santa Fe,
Louisiana, Southern Missouri, Cuba and most of the Carribbean and Central America,
Venezuela, Liberia, the Phillipines, Alaska, Hawaii, etc.). AND, Zamenhof's immigration to
Texas, Haiti in particular, where he published his proposal for a universal language for Texas,
Texperanto. It is mainly based on his earlier attempt, 'Esperanto,' but has many changes and
reforms, including ideas from the Ido and Novial movements, plus vocabulary from Spanish,
Haitian Creole, Cherokee, and other sources.
