Re: [saweli] more apostrophes - registers

I have discovered another place where apostrophes may be found.  They rarely occur in the sentences of either lessons or dictionary.  They are the register endings.

ending register
'ay        humble, subservient, inferior, fawning, groveling
'aw       lea-    praising, complimentary, flattering
'a          polite, formal, respectful
     --      neutral (default)
'e       slang, informal
'i       cold, unfriendly, unsociable
'o       contemptuous, rude, insulting
'u       vulgar, filthy, tasteless

These come last on the verb.  I don't like have the glottal stop (apostrophe) after a consonant though.
