Stress in S carries no real meaning, but it can indicate to the user whether a word is basic or derived.
There are a couple of rules for stress in S:
1) If there are no suffixes, then the first syllable (classifier) is stressed; e.g., "SU-vi-bok" (successful). If the classifier has more than one syllable (the maximum number is currently two), then the second syllable of the classifier is stressed: "su-'A-vi-bok" (unsuccessful).
2) If there are suffixes, then the syllable ending in "n" is stressed: "su-'a-vi-BON-dos" (failure).
