In the text from Minturnae 'n' is missing very often. Maybe there was a nasalization left on the consonant before. The 'm' fell away in the ends, but also in the word 'ublicu', before the 'b'. In 'memra' 'b' elided instead though. It might have something to do with the stress. It might be a sign for the second 'i' kept it's stress, that 'ilius' was spelled both times with single 'l'.
