It is still strange for me, that the vocative does suppress that sound change.

I was too thinking about that, if Vulgar Latin dialects with '-os' in the plural have the change, also there is no point on that because there is no '-i' at the end.

The topic is very interesting for me. And I am glad, I can write things about it too and not just wait for ansers.
