Rhaetic

Hi Pixi!

I am looking forward to read those versions of the Strassbourg Oaths. The language of the shorter text I sent you is already similar to it. 'Plaida' and 'plaid' are about the same word. I made a list to compare the vocabulary. We got in both texts 'int' for 'in' what I also found on Wikipedia in modern Lombard before a vowel. They also got 'cunt' in that position.

And now I tell you how I found the other text. I was looking for a text which is called 'Churrätisches Reichsgutsurbar'. I don't know, what it's English name is. I am still hoping for a copy of it. I would like to look up some old toponyms of my region in it. Then I found a book preview of 'Urkundenlandschaft Rätien' because the 'Reichsgutsurbar' was mentioned in it. I ordered that book a book store in town. It got 60 texts like the one I sent you in it. It also says, that Rhaetic Latin is similar to Langobardic Latin and the style of documents is also close.

Thank you for the modified text. It came while I was writing this. I am gonna read it now. It looks nice.
