Hello all. I'm still working bit by bit on 'Einglek', a conlang based
on Latin with English-like sound changes. Here I offer a translation
of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, a text which I chose for
its shortness. Einglek is still in a process of flux, but the main
form, I believe, is set.
ARTICLE 1 OF THE UNIVERSAL DECLARATION OF HUMAN RIGHTS
Original text:
All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights. They
are endowed with reason and conscience and should act towards one
another in a spirit of brotherhood.
Einglek:
Tûts aumeins sunt neits livers et eicweils in il digniteit et ils
dhireits. Ils sunt doteits cun il ræçûn et il conscinç et dhevaussent
compartair-sî dh'ûn æd ûn in ûn spirit dhîl fræterniteit.

Literal English translation of the Einglek:
All humans are born free and equal in the dignity and the rights.
They are endowed with the reason and the conscience and should behave
themselves from-one to [another] one in a spirit of-the brotherhood.
