Several minor points:

Re "Bretton": there is no Breton language in IB; there is
Brehonecq in that place.

Do I assume right that those words with no etymology listed
are "French" (as opposed to borrowed from without)?

Do you have a good poutsine recipe to hand? What
constitutes a "peppery sauce" in New France? Apart from
pepper. ;)
